From the Upland Field Hunts and wildly popular European Pheasant Drives to the Flighted Mallard Hunts, look no further than Big Easy Ranch. The shooting grounds for upland hunts are post oak flats with native grasses and pastures maintained with paths for walking comfort and safety. The popular European Pheasant Drives are set hillside among large oaks, with more than a fifty-foot drop to the shooting stations. For the ultimate mallard hunt, a twenty-acre wetland rice and millet duck habitat, with both above ground and pit blinds, provides the perfect setting. In addition to corporate outings, Members and their guests enjoy club sponsored hunts and shoots throughout the season.

The Hunt

As a foremost destination for wingshooting, the hunts offer a selection of pheasant, chukar and quail or flighted mallard hunts. A wide variety of shooting locations, the grounds are post oak flats with native grasses such as little blue, big blue and switch grass pastures and a mixture of assorted grains. Maintained paths provide walking comfort and safety while in the field. Professionally guided hunts with well-trained champion retrievers, pointing and flushing dogs and an on-site processing facility provide an easy and enjoyable hunting experience.

Upland Field Hunt

Upland Field Hunts include a choice of pheasant, chukar or quail with numerous hunting areas to choose from. Hunts are offered with a maximum of three guns per guide along with our well trained flushing and retrieving dogs. Complimentary bird cleaning and vacuum packaging are included with every hunt.

EuroPean Pheasant Drive

The European Pheasant Drives have grown in popularity for both corporate outings and club-sponsored member events. Two hillside settings offer either 8 or 10 shooting stands where pheasants are driven with more than a 50-foot drop to the shooting stations. Pheasant Drives are offered with a maximum of 36 guns and led by our team of professional hunting staff and retrieving dogs.

Flighted Mallard Hunt

Set on a 20-acre wetland rice and millet duck habitat, our Flighted Mallard Hunts provide an ideal hunting setting. Five blind locations include three four-person above ground blinds and two three-person pit blinds. A maximum of 16 guns per hunt with our professional hunting staff and retrieving dogs provide the ultimate mallard hunt with comfort and convenience without all of the hard work.
